Born in Canterbury, raised in New York, trained by Sesame Street.

Sam makes films and composes music. He studied composition while traveling into New York frequently to work freelance with production companies and agencies. When he was 19, the crew of Sesame Street trained him for the position of Script Supervisor on the PBS show, It's a Big Big World. He learned a tremendous amount about television production, helping prepare him for the reality of filmmaking. He gained more experience in his last years of studying, with his own creative work as well as with the VXF company The Mill, and the production agency Ghost Robot. Currently, he writes, directs, shoots, edits, and composes the music for brand films and commercials (some of which include Facebook, Under Armour, CoverGirl, and Skillshare), as well as short films and music videos. He looks forward to the possibility of directing a debut feature film in the near future.
